Eek! Check another closet off the reno list, my husband and I officially finished our daughter’s closet last Thursday. Making me one happy momma! When you have a small house or home with small bedrooms, finding ways to maximize your space is a must! And thats what we did in both of our kiddos room. As you can see in my daughter’s closet, my husband built a custom center piece to hold socks, underwear, shorts, and pjs. Eliminating the need for a dresser in her room. We used velvet hangers to hang the rest of her clothes. I’ve always loved velvet hangers! In my experience clothing rarely falls off the velvet hangers and there slim design allows for space in the closet. Her shoes are stored in a storage ottoman I picked up at The Container Store. In addition to having plenty of room for shoes, when you put the lid on it, it acts a stool. Making it a seat to take you shoes on and off. At the top of the closet I have three large cardboard bins to hold sheets, out of season clothing, toys, and keepsakes for the year.
But the real masterpiece of this closet is the wallpaper! Months ago when I came across this paper I know I had to have it! And what better place to add this beautiful paper then in my daughter’s closet!
Below I’ll list all the sources I can to my daughters room including the wallpaper, be sure to let me know your favorites in the comment section below or on my Instagram!
